The Vice-Regent of Palas Appreciated PT KAS Sosa’semployee vaccination program
In an effort to put an end to the COVID-19 transmission, PT. Karya Agung Sawita, Sosa, Padang Lawas, organized a first dose vaccination event for 900 employees of the company.
The execution of the first dose vaccination program of PT KAS, Sosa, was monitored in person by the Vice-Regent of Padang Lawas (Palas), Drg. H. Ahmad Zarnawi Pasaribu, Wednesday (4/8/2021). In addition to the employees of PT. KAS, the vaccination program also targeted the employees of PT Payapinang Group, RISPA, and PT Dibuah Raya with a total of over 1,150 employees. The Vice Regent of Palas, Drg. H. Ahmad Zarnawi Pasaribu stated that the vaccination program was part of the government’s effort to reduce and overcome the transmission of the COVID-19 virus among the employees and the public.
Zarnawi hopes that the vaccination program will help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 transmission. “The district government of Palas appreciates the company’s vaccination event, which draws positive response from the employees and society,” he uttered. According to the Vice-Regent, such vaccination event organized by the company will hopefully provide protection and contribution to the effort to suppress the rate of COVID-19 transmission, particularly in the district of Palas.
Zarnawi further explained that the vaccination program was intended to promote a sense of safety and relief for the employees in doing activities and working. However, the Vice- Regent reminded the employees to remain disciplined in following the health protocols despite having been vaccinated.
PT KAS’s Estate manager, Fery Rifky Andy, accompanied by the company’s Public Relation Officer,Paijan Sukri Hasibuan, remarked that the vaccination program was made possible by the cooperation between the Indonesias Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) and PT KAS (STA Resources – RED). PT KAS is a member of GAPKI. Fery explained that PT KAS, Sosa supports the government’s vaccination program and the application of health protocols as recommended by the government during the current COVID-19 pandemic. “The vaccination program is expected to speed up vaccination program execution, reaching out to all employees of the company,” he said. He also reminded all employees in the company’s workplace to be more disciplined in complying with health prtotocol (PROKES) and to always put on masks as required by the provisions of government regulations followed-up by the companyin order to support the government’s program.
